Wall-integrated shading systems

The ENERsign® windows and shading systems are installed in the wall as a complete system. The aluminum guide rail in the reveal frame guarantees securely guided slats and good wind stability.

The window frame, including the integral sash, is completely integrated behind the blind box and allows for a top modern all-glass look from the outside.
Furthermore, the glass portion increases in height by 40 to 60 mm.

“Zero frame view”:
The ENERsign® elements impress with a very narrow window frame that is perfectly integrated…

…into the building envelope, forming a harmonious, symmetrical unit with the frame, the guide rail, and the wall-integrated shading system.

ENERstore – front blind

Venetian blinds are filigree and ideal shading. They improve the natural room lighting with daylight, reduce glare, and enable heat regulation.

The angle of the slats can be adjusted to shield against direct sunlight and allow natural daylight to enter. Venetian blinds can block up to 90% of all sunlight falling onto the window, creating a pleasant climate.

The slats are securely guided in guide rails to ensure good wind stability. The shading is driven by a motor. The frame with the guide rail and the box is identical in color to the window.

ENERroll – front-mounted roller shutters

The roller shutter is a shading alternative to the Venetian blind. A wall-integrated, front-mounted roller shutter is suitable for both new buildings and demanding renovation projects. Compared to the external Venetian blind, the roller shutter is not as flexible and comfortable in its functionality. However, the roller shutter still has its advantages, especially in the 100% darkening of bedrooms.

For the roller shutter armor, we only use roll-formed, double-walled 37mm wide aluminum profiles with a rigid foam core. The aluminum roller shutter guarantees high stability at a low weight compared to the plastic armor. Furthermore, the aluminum profiles are extremely resistant to the effects of UV light, heat, rain, and hail.

The shading is driven by a motor. The color of the guides and the end rod is identical to the the window color.

 

ENERscreen – front textile screen

Modern and versatile: A screen shade is not only high-quality sun protection for heat and light regulation, but also provides versatile glare, privacy, and heat protection. Depending on the textile screen, translucent or opaque sun protection can be created.

The open structure of the glass fiber fabric offers a reduction of solar radiation of up to 70%. In addition, the UV radiation is filtered by up to 95%. This creates a pleasant room climate while still allowing for a sufficient amount of daylight to enter. The uniform distribution of light entering the room ensures an optimal contrast in the field of vision and prevents dazzling light.

The porch system with an aluminum box is fully integrated into the façade. The shading is driven by a motor. The color of the guides, the end bar, and the box are identical to the window color.

ENERscreen PRO

The textile screen curtain is pulled through the drop rod (in the lower end of the curtain) and kept under tension. A small gap of approx. 10 mm remains between the textile fabric and the guide rail.

ENERscreen ZIP

The ZIP screen offers aesthetically pleasing and reliable sun protection. By guiding the fabric via a “zipper” in guide rails attached to the fabric, the ZIP screen is the optimal choice for wind-stable and safe sun protection.

The ENERscreen ZIP is not only suitable for “normal” window sizes – but also and especially for large window and glass surfaces.

The U-value window is also called heat transfer coefficient and according to the standard DIN EN 10077 it indicates the amount of thermal energy lost through a window to the outside.

The U-value window is calculated using the formula W/(m²K), i.e. watts per square metre and Kelvin. This value refers to the entire window and defines the amount of energy per unit of time that flows through an area of one square meter when the air temperature on both sides differs by one Kelvin. The lower this value is, the less energy or heat the window emits.
